My third trip to Vietnam but first organised tour. I am so glad I chose Gate 1 Travel. The tour had just the right content. The optional tours were great and there was still time to do your own thing. Dang was my tour guide and he is absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I learnt so much from him. I met some amazing people - most of them had used Gate 1 previously, one group it was their 13th Gate 1 tour. That says so much about your company. I am looking forward to travelling with you again. Well done Gate 1 Travel!

We have been on a number of tours both with Gate 1 and with other tour companies. We have to say this was by far the best trip we have taken, well organised, accommodation was all top end, sight see well-spaced and country specific. We would also like to complement our tour guide Tommy. He went out of his way to make the tour special for everyone and took extra time to ensure everything was perfect for those touring. Thanks for such a wonderful trip, we will definitely be visiting Vietnam and touring with Gate 1 again in the near future.

We had a great time ... Our tour manager, Mike, was outstanding…a dear man who was knowledgeable and took good care of us. The tour was well planned and enabled us to get a real feel for Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, as well as the culture, architecture, food and history of the region. The hotels were outstanding. We were amazed at the quality! Cruising on the Mekong River, riding in ox carts, seeing Angkor Wat and the hill people of Thailand were special treats. There were so many special events that it is difficult to list them all ...

Tuyan was a terrific tour guide. This was my 8th Gate 1 trip and he was the best. Very knowledgeable and engaging. I think he showed some of Vietnam most tourists don't see. Also visiting some of those places I remember hearing about during Vietnam war helped me put some things in perspective. The food and shopping were great too. Especially enjoyed Angkor Wat, Saigon, the tunnels, Hoi An and Hue, but everything was interesting and fun. I went on all the optional tours. We had a good group of travelers too.

Our trip was fantastic. To experience the culture and the dynamic of life in Vietnam was truly a life enriching experience. The cities were vibrant and bustling, the outlying village tour was a great gateway into the lives of the common Vietnamese way of life. Halong Bay boat trip and cave adventure was truly amazing. The food was fantastic the accommodations were great and our guide (although a little too politically focused) was very good. I would recommend this trip for anyone who is looking to experience other cultures around the world. The Vietnamese people were very friendly and engaging and eager to share their way of life with us. The host family for the dinner were such great hosts and really gave us an insight into the common family way of life. Overall a great trip and well worth the time, effort and expense.

We had a wonderful tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. The tour was superbly organized, we had great food and centrally located hotels. Our tour manager offered many helpful suggestions about local restaurants and attractions. The group dynamics was probably the best I've experienced on any tour. We had a lot of fun and look forward to our next tour with Gate 1.

The trip was excellent. Could not ask for more for the price. Our tour guide, Dang, went out of his way to make the tours more pleasant and interesting. Will definitely recommend Gate 1 to our friends and family and will look to Gate 1 for our next trip to India.

I can't say enough good things about our trip, Vietnam was a wonderful experience. Our Tour Manager Mr. Trong was top notch, tons of fun, educational, and very easy to talk to. My wife and I love the guy! You will definitely get repeat business with us in the near future and we haven't stopped talking about the trip to our friends and family. Thank you for taking care of us and taking the guess work out of the trip. Looking forward to the next one!

It was EXCELLENT. Our guide was Tu. He took the time to explain not only the sights, but the Vietnamese culture and was extremely diplomatic when explaining the differences in culture between the US and Vietnam. He made us feel very comfortable and was there whenever we needed him. This was our first Gate 1 tour, but based on our experience, it won't be the last. Our friend is taking the same tour in April and we hope she has Tu as a guide.

Excellent! It exceeded all our expectations. Our guide, Dang, did a wonderful job and went far out of his way to accommodate everyone. I can't say enough good things about him. This was our first Gate 1 tour. I will definitely use you guys again in the future.

One of the best ever. The guide was very knowledgeable about Vietnam and proud of his country. He offered an extra small trip on his own time that was not part of the itinerary. He spent time making sure my wife could keep up with the group. He was often available in the lobby to answer questions. This was my 3rd trip to Vienam and I learned many new facts that I had not known before.

I had a wonderful trip to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The services and the tour guides were great and helpful. They all did an excellent job to make our trip interesting, comfortable and safe. Tour guides Buff (Vietnam) and Tok (Thailand) performed good services throughout the journey and I am pleased with their hard work. I will definitely use Gate 1 again in my future travels.
